Upcoming Irish Open and an Overdue Lookback

  Winning Catch Up It has been way too long since I last posted a blog. I thought I better get out one now to cover the last seven months before next weeks Irish Open festival. I'm fully intent on winning the Irish Open this year so my next blog with cover that roller-coaster ride navigating a record sized field in the RDS Dublin for the greatest result of my career. Until that great upcoming blog, this one will have to do for now. Since my last blog I've cashed for just over $50,000 according to thehendonmob  . There's been a bit of everything in there. A few small trophy's, a lot of crossbars and a lot of final tables and cashes without hitting the jackpot money.  The results that I'm most proud of in that time are making the Smart Poker Tour - SPT High Stakes Edition Championships for the second year running in Sofia Bulgaria and one that doesn't show on the Hendonmob site, winning the Irishpokertour league for a 2nd time in three years. 1st 2023, 2nd in 2024...

Irish Poker Tour - Summer in Dublin

An Overdue Catch Up

Oct/Dec 2024  The last time I updated the blog was late October during the IPO festival. A lot of poker has been played since that time. I should have posted a few blogs in the intervening five months but just didn't get around to them.  I'll do my best to summarize what went down over that period now before the Irish Open kicks off next week. October 2024 saw the end of my 12 month sponsorship contract with KKPoker. I had an enjoyable time representing KKPoker and I'd like to think I did a good job promoting the KKPoker brand for the period.  Special thanks to Tia Nguyen & Mervin Hassan for their support and friendships throughout the year. I hit a rich vein of form with seven 1st places finishes between my last blog on the 24th of October and the end of the year. Autumn 24, London, Killarney & A Trophy - Part 2

Clonmel I bricked all events at last weekends Irish Poker Tour's "Siege of Clonmel Festival". It is thankfully unusual for me to go a festival without some returns these days so hopefully that's the bad one out of the way with a busy few weeks coming up.  Tommy Heads up in the Main Event Clonmel Congratulations to all the winners over the weekend in Clonmel especially Tommy Geleziunas who finished 1st in both the PLO-&-Max Event and the Main Event for €2,500 and €20,000. Autumn 24, London, Killarney & A Trophy - Part 1

The last blog brought us up to the end of August. The six weeks since have been pretty hectic and exciting. As you can see below from the Hendon Mob screenshot there's been a bit of everything.  An exciting 1st in A KKpoker live event, a 2nd and a 3rd, a few other crossbars and I even managed to stone cold bubble the main event in London.   Hendon Mob I'll start with Killarney which only comes second for me to the Irish Open for festival's in Ireland. I've been travelling to poker festivals in Killarney since the late noughties and what a wonderful venue the Gleneagles has always been.  The Champion This years €700 buy-in main event saw one of the toughest late stage line up ever assembled battling it out for the title. Summer 24 The Second Half

My last blog which covered the first half of the Summer recalled visiting exotic locations suck as Lisbon and Malaga. This second half of the summer blog is more of the same with tales of visits to exotic Dundalk and Claremorris. I did also manage a trip to London where some wages were pick up and a fruitless return to Bratislava. Bratislava I travelled to Bratislava in the middle of July. I can't seem to get a touch in this casino. I won't stop trying though. It was a great festival and I'll be returning for the Autumn Festival at the end of October.   I did play a live streamed cash game, It was good fun but I spent most of the game in a hole after losing a big pot early. I  eventually finish the game down small. Dundalk   The last weekend in July brought a trip to Dundalk for The Irish Poker Tours Northern Poker Festival. Portugal, Malaga & More

  I've been meaning to catch up on the blog for a couple of week now and have finally gotten around to it. I've a lot to cover so forgive me if this blog is a little disjointed.  We'll start with online where I've been grinding a lot recently in between live events.
